The Open Network (TON) is a decentralized and open internet platform made up of several components, including the TON Blockchain, TON DNS, TON Storage, and TON Websites. The TON Blockchain serves as the core protocol connecting the underlying infrastructure, forming the larger TON ecosystem.

TON is a powerful public blockchain backed by Telegram which has 900 million users, seamlessly integrated into the messaging software.
You can create your crypto wallet using the official TON wallet plugins available at https://ton.org/en/wallets.
However, we recommend using the internal Telegram-supported application @Wallet. In the following, we will demonstrate how to create a TON wallet using this application. By following these steps, you can easily obtain your first TON coin.
Once you enter the @Wallet application, you should get this page. Congratulations, you have now created a TON wallet hosted by Telegram.
You can start receiving cryptocurrencies immediately. Simply click 'Add Crypto' to display your wallet address, allowing anyone to send cryptocurrency to you, or you can send crypto to your Telegram contacts through the wallet.
If you wish to interact with other applications in the TON network, or prefer to have a wallet that is solely yours without third-party hosting, then the process isnât over yet.
Enter 'TON Space' to create a space wallet, which allows you to link and interact with applications within the TON network.
First, you need to bind your recovery email, so you can retrieve your wallet in case of device changes or emergencies.
Once your email is verified, you can access your space wallet. Now, you are ready to explore all the applications within the TON network.
Now that we have a wallet, we need to transfer TON tokens into it. Similar to ETH, all transactions on the TON network use TON tokens as GAS.
Simply click the 'Add Crypto' button, and choose the easiest method to acquire TON tokens. You can buy TON directly with fiat using 'Credit Card' or 'P2P Trading'.
Now you are already a cryptocurrency enthusiast, great! You can purchase some TON tokens from various centralized exchanges that support TON transactions and transfer them to your TON wallet.
